Terms of use

These terms are the agreement between you and RadiologyQuizLab when you use radiologyquizlab.com. By creating an account or subscribing, you accept them. They are deliberately short — please read them.

1. What this service is

RadiologyQuizLab is an educational website for learning radiological anatomy. It shows real medical images with a structure indicated, and asks you to name it.

It is a study tool, nothing more. Its content is not medical advice, is not a diagnostic aid, and must never be used to make a decision about a patient. Clinical judgement remains yours alone.

We are independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any university, professional college or examination board, and we guarantee no exam result.

2. Who runs it

The site is built and run by two individuals — a radiologist and a tech entrepreneur. There is no company behind it at this stage. That takes nothing away from your rights: your statutory consumer rights apply in full, whoever the seller is.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 to create an account.
  • Give a working email address and keep your password to yourself.
  • An account is personal. Do not share your login and do not use it for more than one person — group access is not what the price covers.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to it.

4. Free and paid plans

  • The free plan gives access to a limited set of questions (currently 40), with no payment and no card details.
  • Paid plans are subscriptions, monthly or annual. The exact price, currency and billing period are shown before you pay, on the checkout page.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, at the same price, until you cancel.
  • Payment is taken by Stripe. We never see your card number.
  • If a payment fails, access may be paused until the payment goes through.

5. Cancellation and refunds

  • You can cancel at any time from your account, through the billing portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, you have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Because a subscription gives immediate access to digital content, you are asked at checkout to agree that performance starts right away — which ends the 14-day right once you start using the paid content. If you have not used it, write to us within 14 days and we will refund you in full.
  • Beyond that, we do not refund a period already started. If something genuinely went wrong — a double charge, a service you could not access — write to us and we will sort it out.
  • Prices can change, but never in the middle of a period you have paid for. Existing subscribers are told by email before a new price applies to their renewal.

6. What you may and may not do

Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use the content for your own learning, for as long as your plan is active. It transfers no ownership.

  • Do not copy, bulk-download, republish, resell or redistribute the questions, images or explanations.
  • Do not scrape the site, use bots, or automate access to the question bank.
  • Do not share your account or resell access to it.
  • Do not attempt to break, overload or circumvent the security of the service.

7. Intellectual property

The questions, the texts and the site itself belong to us or are used with permission. Some illustrative images come from public-domain or Creative Commons sources and remain under their own licences, credited where they are used.

8. Availability and changes to the content

We work to keep the site up, but we cannot promise uninterrupted access: there will be maintenance and, occasionally, failures at our hosting providers. We also add, correct and remove questions over time — the content is not frozen, and improving it is the point.

9. Suspension and closure

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms — in particular shared accounts, scraping, or bulk copying of the content. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first. If we close a paid account for a breach, we will refund the unused part of the current period unless the breach was deliberate and serious.

You can close your own account at any time from your account page.

10. Our responsibility

The service is provided as it is. We do not promise that it is free of errors, that a given structure is labelled the way your own school labels it, or that using it will make you pass anything.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost time, lost opportunity, or any clinical decision taken with reference to this site.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, and your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Privacy

How we handle your personal data is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top always says when. If a change materially affects a subscription you already hold, we will tell you by email with reasonable notice, and you may cancel if you do not accept it.

13. Applicable law

If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country you live in apply to this agreement, and you may bring proceedings before the courts of that country.
